The King James Project and Princess Yaya Project is a social-emotional learning mentorship program to address the unprecedented mental health crisis that students face. Our program decreases disruption in learning, relationships, and routines. It also decreases isolation and allows students to interact with their peers, friends, and caring adults. Our Art and Play Therapists use Trauma-Informed and evidence-based practices. We also teach them life-long skills in communication, confidence and leadership building. Students are taught to find their voice.
